Mai-Britt Wagnild,
Born and brought up in Norway. She is a Mezzo soprano full of guts and dramatic confidence and her voice has a warm rich quality.

Well known for capturing her audience through her warm and open
personality and elegance on stage. As the main character, Lucie,
in Steinvikholmen's District opera "Olav Engelbrektsson", Norway.
She was praised for her interpretation of the part as c young virgin-like girl and considered to have been "Tidenes Lucie", the best Lucie they've had in the production so far. She has specialised in opera, operetta and musical theatre through further education.

In co-operation with the actress Gunn Mogseth, Mai- Britt is going to take part and produce a show that has its premier autumn 2010. The show is based around Is - slottet by Tarjei Vesaas and the author is Marte Huke.

Mai-Britt is going to sing the part of Cherobino under a concert version of The Marriage of Figaro by Mozart at Fjøsfestivalen, Melhus. Other professional singers involved are Yngve Søberg, Ingrid Vetlesen, Maria Statin other parts will be confirmed shortly.
